Pollmeier Massivholz GmbH will be awarding the Beech Design Award for the first time in 2008. With its international competition, everybody who uses beech wood for products and projects, e.g. architects, designers, carpenters and all woodworkers, are invited to enter. Products and projects which, through the use of staining or painting, render the beech unrecognisable as such, are also allowed to enter.

A qualified jury - namely you - ensures an objective evaluation. Evaluation of the submitted projects will be via voting on the website and votes can be given until 30.10.2008. All visitors have the opportunity to award between 1 and 5 points to projects they like. The points are then added together to give the total number of points for a given project. Points are awarded for design and innovativeness.

The three projects with the highest point score will be declared the winners. Prize winners can expect attractive prizes. The official awards-ceremony ceremony will take place in November 2008. By entering, you have the opportunity of drawing attention to your company and your products free of charge.
As a prize winner of a Beech Design Award, you can also use the award for advertising purposes and use the Beech Design Award logo.
